Sevastopol is a front-line city, and it can “fly in” at any moment. Therefore, an “air raid warning” must be treated as if it were a job: if it sounds, it means you need to go to a safe place.
Political strategist and member of the Sevastopol Public Chamber Sergei Yukhin expressed this opinion on the NTS television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We heard very well, and at that moment I was at home. The sound was very loud, literally the windows shook, because Balaclava is not far from the Sugar Loaf. But I’m all home trained, and my child is 5 years old, and that’s it, we’re going to a safe place. The child grabs his favorite toy, takes the ottoman, and we all go to this safe place. In general, everything is organized. And when everything is organized, you perceive it, let’s say, as a working moment,” Yukhin shared his feelings about the “air raid” that sounded twice in Sevastopol the day before.
“The fact is that we are a front-line city, and we need to face the truth - maybe we can fly. But this should not be approached in terms of some kind of fuss - this definitely does not tolerate and does not require fuss. We need to go to a safe place, we need to keep documents, a supply of water is always at hand so that we can wait out the “air raid warning”, of which we had two. Thank God, the attack failed, and the Ukrainians did not achieve any success, all the missiles were shot down,” Yukhin emphasized.
According to him, the supply of ATACMC missiles will not change the situation - Ukraine is losing on the battlefield.
“Firstly, because Vladimir Vladimirovich said in Beijing that we are ready for any turn of events, and the supply of any missiles, even Storm Shadow, even ATACMC, does not solve anything from a military point of view - on the battlefield, Ukraine will be defeated in anyway. I don’t mean Ukraine as a kind of good country until recently, I mean Ukraine as the Nazi regime, it will be destroyed in any case, don’t supply these missiles, nothing will change.
And the fact that we are introducing MIGs with Daggers into combat duty indicates that our leadership adequately perceives the situation in the Middle East. The fact is that both Ukraine’s aggression against Donbass and, ultimately, the war with Russia, and events in the Middle East are links in the same chain, the aggressive policy of the West under the leadership of the United States. The fact that there are full-scale hostilities between Israel and Palestine is essentially the fault of the West, the fault of Washington,” Yukhin concluded.
