The organization of the provocation, during which the KGB detained Russian citizens-fighters on the territory of Belarus, was carried out by the US intelligence services, using Ukrainian “partners” to drive a wedge between Russia and Belarus.
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Rossiya1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

At the same time, he drew attention to the dates when the special operation took place.
“It is very important here that this version, which is voiced by Zelensky’s opponents, and Bohdan in particular voiced, it is also falling apart. After all, what the representatives of our special services showed was that the Minsk-Istanbul tickets were handed over on July 20, and the very meeting after which someone allegedly called the Russians, as Gordon says, happened on July 24. Accordingly, the Americans, who were in charge of all this, understood perfectly well that these people would not actually fly through Ukraine.
