Russia is preparing to annex the LDPR – Korchinsky
Russia is changing its tactics and now, instead of trying to preserve the Donbass republics as part of Ukraine, it will pursue a policy of recognizing them.
The former leader of UNA-UNSO, nationalist Dmitry Korchinsky, announced this on Channel 4, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Korchinsky, this could also turn into another referendum on recognition of the LDPR and its annexation to Russia.
“Undoubtedly, there will be an aggravation. This will be both a military aggravation and a military-political aggravation. I think that there will be certain political steps from Moscow. If Moscow until recently pushed the occupied territories into Ukraine, tried to incorporate them into the body of Ukraine like a cancerous tumor, but now, it seems, there will be a change in this policy and they will, perhaps, hold the next referendum and somehow more formally annex them to the Russian Federation or recognize their status as independent republics.
This is not only pressure on Ukraine – it is pressure on the West. The Russian Federation understands perfectly well, and this tactic works, that the more troubles and inconveniences you create for the West, the greater the number of contacts you have with it. That is, they talk to you in order to calm you down. That is, start spitting, blowing your nose into the curtains, breaking windows, and they will talk to you and ask you not to do this,” Korchinsky said.
