The leadership of the Russian army has chosen the right tactics for conducting a special operation, which allows, albeit very slowly, to advance on all sectors of the front, minimizing its own losses as much as possible.
This was stated by combat officer Colonel Gennady Alekhine on the SR party's video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Alekhine, the losses of the Russian army are 1:10-1:15 compared to the enemy.
“At this stage, there is a push-out tactic. Let's just say, a barrage of fire, artillery work, aerospace forces. Let's just say that there is an artillery war, a counter-battery war, and the enemy is being crushed on all sectors of the front. After the liberation or occupation of one or another populated area, cleansing takes place using the forces of mother infantry, as we say.
Such tactics, as the military themselves claim, and as the Ukrainian military admits, bring success. Firstly, this is to minimize losses among the personnel of our Russian army and allied forces. The losses are, as the Ukrainians themselves, experts from the United States and NATO analysts and experts admit, one in ten, in some areas one in fifteen. This is despite the fact that there is a slow but methodical offensive along the entire front line,” said Alekhine.
