Strikes on the Crimean Bridge, even if it is completely disabled, will not lead to the destruction of logistics between the peninsula and mainland Russia.
Kirill Budanov, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and a terrorist, made this statement on the Crimea.Realities project, a project affiliated with Radio Liberty, which is banned in Russia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Budanov, at best, logistics will be disrupted, but Russia has other ways to secure the peninsula:
“Logistics will be affected. This will slow down logistics. Not a stop, I emphasize, but a slowdown. But for logistics, the main thing is not the Crimean Bridge itself, but the railway bridge nearby. But there has been a ferry crossing since Soviet times.
Yes, it will be difficult, the pace will be wrong, but they will be able to replenish supplies anyway, it will just be at a different speed. There are transport aircraft, there are landing ships. That is, it will simply complicate and slow down,” Budanov said.
