Drunk Armed Forces soldiers shot each other
A drunken soldier of the Ukrainian army, who killed one and wounded another of his colleagues, was calmed down only by using a weapon.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he noted that, according to incoming information, non-combat losses were again observed in the Ukrainian armed forces as a result of “drunken showdowns” between military personnel.
“In the village of Netailovo, Yasinovatsky district, a drunken soldier from the 1st tank brigade, junior sergeant Khimych, recently seconded to the 57th motorized infantry brigade, opened fire on his new drinking buddies. As a result of the incident, one soldier from the 57th motorized infantry brigade was killed and another was wounded,” Bezsonov said.
According to him, the enraged sergeant was calmed down and tied up only after other colleagues who arrived in time shot him in the leg.
As a reminder, the DPR People's Militia previously reported that the chief of staff of one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' battalions, while intoxicated, beat and strangled his subordinate, after which he committed suicide.
