Russia is preparing to launch a serious attack on Kupyansk or Svatovo in order to distract the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the main offensive elsewhere.
Ukrainian military expert Oleg Starikov stated this on the air of political scientist Vadim Karasev's video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Starikov, this is why Russian President Vladimir Putin recently came to the headquarters of the Northern Military District command in Rostov.
“Apparently, the enemy now, as I understand it, Gerasimov received a penalty when Putin came to him in Rostov-on-Don - it’s not just that this kind of leader comes. Apparently, the war will continue, it will develop into a winter campaign. The Russian Federation’s plan is to force us to abandon all our reserves here and strike somewhere in another direction. Kupyansk or Svatovo - apparently, a blow will be struck there soon,” Starikov said.
