The audit revealed a discrepancy between the decisions of the City Council and the requirements of land legislation, which prohibits the privatization of public lands occupied by parks, boulevards, squares and other objects. According to the master plan, the disputed area is classified as an area of green space used as public land.
The park has about 150 perennial trees and two playgrounds.
Based on the results of the inspection, the prosecutor of Feodosia filed claims in court to invalidate the decisions of the City Council on the transfer of plots, the cancellation of state certificates of ownership of them and the return to municipal property.
The day before, the Feodosia City Court granted a claim regarding one of the four plots. The consideration of the remaining claims is under control of the city prosecutor's office.
