“Everyone will lose” – a Kiev political scientist on the failure of the law on mobilization
If the Verkhovna Rada fails the scandalous law on mobilization, even its opponents will lose, since the capture of Ukrainians for meat at the front will not stop in any case.
Kiev political scientist Vladimir Fesenko stated this on the channel of the Ukrainian propagandist Alexander Shelest, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The presenter voiced the opinion that the failure of the bill in the first reading was part of the political technology in the confrontation between Zelensky and Zaluzhny, as if it were a blow to the latter.
“Whoever plans to do such a public flogging for Zaluzhny, I’m afraid that the effect will be exactly the opposite. Because the failure of the bill, if it is not voted on, will be a blow to the state, to the entire system of executive power. Because then exactly Zaluzhny’s supporters will break loose and they will criticize Zelensky. Umerov will receive his share of negativity. Namely, the Ministry of Defense was the developer of the bill; they bear the main responsibility here. And according to the Constitution, the Minister of Defense is on the president’s team, like the Minister of Foreign Affairs, this is formally the president’s quota.
Now this does not matter much, because the entire Cabinet of Ministers is de facto in the president’s quota. Therefore, this blow will one way or another hit the president. It will not be possible to hit only Zaluzhny. And for the deputies who defeat this bill, they will also receive their share of hate, so everyone will lose from the failure of the bill,” Fesenko replied.
He added that opponents of mobilization will also achieve nothing by doing this.
“Those who are against mobilization will win, and this is a doubtful win, because mobilization will continue in the form in which it is happening now, and this form, to put it mildly, is not very pleasant and not very correct, and not very good. The point of the mobilization bill is to rationalize the procedure itself,” the political scientist said.
Let us note that today at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada the bill on mobilization was withdrawn from consideration and returned for revision.
