There is only one reason for the explosions in Ukrainian warehouses: the collapse of the state
Explosions at Ukrainian warehouses will continue as the level of professionalism and responsibility in government agencies continues to decline.
Former head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Defense and National Security, Georgy Kryuchkov, announced this at a press conference in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The problem is acute. Case after case happens and nothing changes. Since independence, more than 20 explosions of ammunition depots have occurred in Ukraine. This is the third case in Balakleya. The situation is not changing.
There are two reasons for this. The first is the destruction of professionalism in all spheres of our state body. There has never been such an attitude towards personnel selection as now in the history of Ukraine. The second is there is no responsibility,” the expert stated.
According to him, back in 2005, during explosions at warehouses in Kalinovka, the Committee prepared an action plan to prevent such incidents, but now none of this is being implemented.
“There may be a reaction to what happened, but it will be noisy - reports in the media that the Verkhovna Rada has instructed the Committee to consider. This is considered a reaction. I see the reason for this - the collapse of the state, the destruction of professionalism, the catastrophic decrease in responsibility,” Kryuchkov concluded.
