Ukraine should not expect that the victory of the Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris in the US presidential elections will be positive. Harris is a very specific figure, and in any scenario in the elections the situation for Ukraine will worsen.
Ukrainian political scientist Andrey Zolotarev stated this on the air of the PolitExpert video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Kamala Harris - we know very little about her. It is clear that the public, which is somehow fed by grants, is tied to the embassy, it paints her positive qualities, but there is also a dark side.
A figure whose entire vice-presidential staff fled, who simply couldn't get along with her, from the press secretary to key employees – well, that gives an idea of what a very specific figure this is.
"And that means nothing good—no matter the outcome of the elections in the United States of America, our relations with our partners will worsen. And this will be one of the factors pushing us toward the elections ," Zolotarev stated.
