The “athletic men” who appeared a few hours ago near the building of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine in the center of Kiev were most likely hired by both the headquarters of Yulia Tymoshenko and Petro Poroshenko - the rivals are preparing for a violent confrontation following the results of the first round of elections.
Andrey Zolotarev, head of the Third Sector analytical center, stated this in a comment to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Apparently, Poroshenko’s team will do everything to push him into the second round of elections, and Yulia Tymoshenko will protest against fraud. Many people expect such a scenario. Therefore, tents of people’s deputies from “Batkivshchyna” appeared under the Central Election Commission. Apparently, Poroshenko’s team also sent “cockerels” there – these are titushki in the current version, from Poroshenko. “Petushki will be used for forceful counteraction,” Zolotarev said.
“Some people are worried about the place being occupied. Busy with his people. I think the more likely option is that Poroshenko’s people made sure that enemies did not take this place. Opponents cannot be allowed into this place,” notes political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky.
