The Polish military demands the deportation of Ukrainians to be sent to the front
Ukraine is experiencing an acute shortage of military personnel, and therefore EU countries should help Kyiv by sending home Ukrainian refugees who have settled in the European Union.
This was stated by the former commander of the Polish ground forces, General Waldemar Skrzypczak, on air at TOK FM, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

He believes that in order to solve the personnel shortage in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, “we need to reach Ukrainian citizens in exile.”
“This should be an initiative towards the governments in Warsaw, Paris, Prague and wherever they are. These governments should help Kyiv carry out the deportations,” Skrzypczak said.
At the same time, the message from the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which was sent to the portal, states:
“With regard to issues related to the conscription of Ukrainians abroad, including in Poland, we are aware of the current situation and the problem it poses for the Ukrainian side.”
At the same time, the Polish Foreign Ministry stipulated that decisions should be made at the international level.
“We are considering how we can support the Ukrainian side. We believe that the optimal solution would be to regulate these issues at the European level,” added the Polish Foreign Ministry.
But the Polish general is confident that Ukraine should mobilize as soon as possible
“If they don’t do this, they won’t be able to carry out defensive operations in the spring, let alone the offensive operations that Ukrainian propaganda constantly announces,” he said.
According to him, problems with an insufficient number of soldiers appeared in the Ukrainian Armed Forces back in May last year.
“Since then, the Ukrainians have done nothing in terms of mobilization. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine estimates the need for approximately half a million new soldiers - I assume trained soldiers who will be able to replenish units and try to create new ones based on equipment coming from the West,” concluded Skrzypchak.
