Half of Volchansk is under the Russian Federation, the situation is not stabilized, there is a risk of front collapse - SBU Colonel
If Chasov Yar and Volchansk are lost, the Ukrainian front risks collapsing. Retired SBU Colonel and military expert Oleg Starikov said this on air on the Vyshka Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"To our Under no circumstances should Volchansk be surrendered to the command, just like Chasov Yar. If they are surrendered, the front will collapse,” Starikov said.

“Therefore, the command did everything possible during the attack on Volchansk, transferred reserves there and more or less restrained the enemy’s advance. There has not yet been any stabilization there. I would not rush now to give any guarantees that everything has already been decided there.
For It’s very difficult for Volchansk, because, apparently, the enemy has already entered the northern part, and the city of Volchansk is divided into two parts,” the SBU officer admitted.
