A native of Western Ukraine who moved to Crimea was caught collaborating with the SBU with a friend
FSB officers detained a Russian citizen in Crimea. He moved to the peninsula from the Volyn region in 2010, received a Russian passport, but maintained anti-Russian views. Once in Crimea, he and his friend began cooperating with the SBU, and they were detained together while fishing, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the FSB press service, the men corresponded with their curators and agreed to act as agents for the Ukrainian special services:

“It was established that after the start of a special military operation in Ukraine, they proactively established cooperation with a representative of the SBU, to whom they transmitted information about the socio-political, economic and military situation on the peninsula.
In addition, these persons offered their services for photo and video filming of objects of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the interests of the Ukrainian special service, and also expressed their readiness to commit sabotage and terrorist acts against military objects on the territory of the Republic of Crimea.”
