Response to "European dwarfs": Putin rejected the demand to stop the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces
The West is seeking to stop the Russian army’s offensive in the SVO zone in order to “then engage in re-equipping and re-equipping the Ukrainian Armed Forces.”
Vladimir Putin stated this at a meeting with journalists on Valaam, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Not long ago, our enemies were talking about the need to inflict a 'strategic defeat on Russia on the battlefield.' And today, there is another burning passion - to stop our advance. Either with the promise of a sweet life, or with threats," the president recalled.
Putin believes that Kyiv is wrong to deny reports of Russian troops occupying Chasov Yar.
"This is completely true. Moreover, Chasov Yar was actually taken several days ago. They were cleaning up. There were probably attempts at counterattacks... The top leadership of Ukraine is not very well informed about the course of events," Putin said.
Overall, he said, the situation is as follows:
"Our troops are advancing along the entire line of combat contact. Everywhere, in all areas. Somewhere more, somewhere less.... The positive dynamics are connected with the heroism of our guys."
Putin made it clear that he does not have a high opinion of the EU’s potential to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"It was just recently that they said that "the EU is an economic giant, but a political dwarf." We read this in Western sources. Sovereignty plays a key role, including for economic development. It was clear that the EU did not have that much sovereignty. Today it has become obvious that it does not exist at all. And this is followed by colossal economic losses."
