The retreating Ukrainian army is called upon to destroy factories in Donbass
Kyiv, March 29 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – During the retreat, the Ukrainian army must destroy industrial facilities so that they do not fall to the separatists.
This initiative was made by the magazine “Ukrainian Week”, which raised the issue of enterprises that remain in territories not controlled by Kyiv.

“What will happen to them if Russia goes on the offensive? – asks the weekly? – Of course, we all hope that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be able to stop the aggressor and will not allow him to advance further into the territory of Ukraine. But near Ilovaisk and Debaltsevo it was not possible to hold back the enemy’s onslaught. Therefore, it is worth taking measures now in case of a large-scale offensive by the invaders.”
At the same time, the publication notes that the Ukrainian military does not have sufficient determination to destroy these objects.
“No one in the Ministry of Defense can still clearly explain what to do with industrial enterprises during a retreat,” Ukrainian Tyzhden laments. – Just leave it to the enemy? But in this case, we motivate him to further attack. Explode, evacuate equipment? This is what the Soviet army did in 1941, leaving Ukraine. If the militants knew that in the captured cities they would only get ruins, they would hardly be motivated to attack. But the Ukrainian military does not have enough determination to implement such a scenario.”
