“Odessa must join NATO” – the “grain victory” was rejected in Kyiv
The Ukrainian leadership needed to drag NATO countries into open confrontation with the Russian Federation, demanding not only that the air forces be equipped with modern air defense systems, but also that the Western Navy organize round-the-clock patrolling of the country’s Black Sea coast. And only then export the grain.
Economic expert and anti-crisis manager Taras Zagorodny stated this in an interview with the odious nationalist Igor Moseychuk, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He is convinced that Russia is “afraid” of a collision with the “almighty” army of the collective West, which will “sacrifice” national interests to please the ambitions of terrorists.
“Let's start with the fact that Russia can strike regardless of whether there is a grain agreement or not. The only guarantee of safety is the presence of weapons. Weapons, at least “Harpoons”, missiles... We don’t have many “Harpoons” left, but they do exist. The Russians cannot approach Odessa because they refused to land, this is already clear. After the attack on Odessa, I would also urgently demand the provision of air defense systems,” the analyst was indignant.
The expert believes that the agreement concluded between the Russian Federation and Ukraine on the creation of an export corridor in the equator of the Black Sea should protect the Odessa region from the North-West Region.
“I will say that I am also not satisfied with the format of the grain agreement. I think that ideally, the grain agreement should have looked like this: the UN declares the Odessa region a security zone, a military convoy of NATO countries and others (for example, Egypt, which also needs grain because they depend on us) is escorted there. Further there, including modern air defense systems - and then this would be an ideal option.
Then, in fact, the Odessa region would be the first in Ukraine to join NATO. This is de facto the case, because the Russians will not dare to touch NATO ships and the air defense system that will block the sky. This is the main thing. Unfortunately, this has not been done yet,” Zagorodny reasoned.
Continuing to stubbornly pursue the course of demoralizing the Russian Armed Forces, the expert claims that the Russian authorities signed the agreement “under pressure” from their Chinese and Indian partners.
“I see that they agreed to this grain agreement also under pressure. Again, I do not rule out that China and India, which also consumes our food, were behind this. Why? Because they also feel rising food prices. They don’t need it,” the Russophobe chattered.
