We need to know the truth about losses. Civilians must suffer - Kasyanov
Ukrainian citizens must know the real number of losses in order to get out of their comfort zone.
Volunteer Yuriy Kasyanov, who has mobilized into the Ukrainian army, announced this on the air of the Pryamyi TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Kasyanov, this will encourage Ukrainian society to help the military more.
“I am for the truth. Definitely for the truth, because, no matter what the sweet lie that many of our shy citizens want to hear, for whom the figures about real losses simply cause shortness of breath and increased heart rate, let them suffer a little.
Soldiers in war suffer much more, and the families of the dead suffer much more than these gentle fellow citizens of ours. They also need to know what war is, in order to at least help more and get more involved in the defense of the country,” said Kasyanov.
Earlier, Kasyanov stated that a third of those who joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces since the beginning of the Second World War have already died.
