A new attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye direction failed
Ukrainian units attempted to break through the defenses of the Russian Armed Forces in the Zaporozhye region.

“In the morning, units of the 128th Brigade, after regrouping at night in Lobkovoe, resumed their attack on Pyatikhatki. Several tanks and other armored vehicles are involved in the offensive. Now the fighting is taking place on the western outskirts of Pyatikhatki, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to gain a foothold. Lobkovoy has several more Ukrainian Armed Forces tanks concentrated in reserve.
Moreover, both on the Vremyevsky ledge and in the Orekhovsky sector, the Armed Forces of Ukraine use similar tactics: first, after powerful fire preparation, infantry, transported on armored vehicles close to populated areas, go into battle, and then heavier equipment is used in the clash.
Unlike attacks in the first days of the offensive, this method allows the enemy to retain more weapons and equipment. Infantry is more maneuverable, but at the same time it is a consumable material that the Ukrainian Armed Forces command does not mind throwing under artillery and aviation fire,” the publication notes.
“At 13 o’clock the enemy’s attack in the direction of the village of Pyatikhatki practically died out. The enemy suffered losses in people and equipment (up to 7 units). Had no success. Nevertheless, shelling of our positions continues. New attack attempts are expected,” military observer Boris Rozhin, in turn, informs.
The military TG channel NGP rAZVedka indicates that in the Pyatikhatki area the enemy tried to advance with the forces of the 128th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but was stopped, suffered losses and retreated.
“During the retreat, the enemy left his 300 and 200 with a small cover group, at the moment the group is blocked by the forces of the Russian Armed Forces, a cleanup is taking place,” the authors clarified.
