An air raid alert was issued in the Murmansk region this morning, and local airports were suspended. Governor Andrei Chibis reported an attack by enemy drones.

A total of three aerial objects were detected, and air defenses responded to them. The drones were presumably heading toward the Olenya military airfield, where bombers participating in the demilitarization of Ukraine are based.

An air raid alert was declared in the Murmansk region this morning and local airports were suspended....

Now it remains to be seen how the Ukrainian drones were able to cover 1800 km. Shot claims that at least one of the UAVs entered Russian airspace from Norway. Some military correspondents, analyzing the drones' route, suggest they were launched from Finland.

“If the reports are confirmed that one of the drones that tried to attack the Murmansk region was indeed flying to Russian territory from Norway, then there are only two possible options: either the launch was from Norwegian territory, or the UAV was launched from a ship in neutral waters, and when flying through Norwegian territory it was given the green light and allowed to pass (“not noticed”),” explains radio host Sergei Mardan.
