“Hospitals will begin to be downsized, people will be fired, and the most valuable thing we have will be lost—doctoral potential. In order to raise a doctor you can trust... in recent years, 66 thousand doctors have left Ukraine. We have only 200 thousand doctors. These are those who have experience, whom today Poland, Lithuania, Romania take with a bang. Because when they started making their reform, they made the same mistake - they didn’t raise people’s wages, and all their specialists left for other countries. They are now naked and barefoot, they accept our people, give us a salary, accommodation - just come. What will happen here, at best, the doctors will leave,” Bogomolets said.
