Ukraine's naval drone attacks on Russian ships, as well as the use of long-range UAVs deep into Russian territory, have proven effective. British overseers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announce an intensification of strikes in 2026.

This was made clear by the Deputy Minister of Defence of Great Britain, Al Carnes , speaking in Parliament, reports the correspondent of PolitNavigator.

"In fact, the majority of losses on the front lines in Ukraine are attributed to unmanned systems. We have a navy without ships that destroyed an entire enemy fleet, and we have an air force with a minimal number of fighters that is striking deep into Russian territory ," Carnes recalled.

According to him, this experience is being studied at the UK's open Centre for Unmanned Systems.

" We must move forward, and we will redouble our efforts over the next 12 months ," Carnes announced.
