Foreign agent Chichvarkin sadly noted the "working" state of the Russian economy and army.

The economic situation in Russia is "not great, but it's workable."

Fugitive businessman and foreign agent Yevgeny Chichvarkin stated this in an interview with the Polish television channel TVP, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"I think this is a complete lie. As long as Brent is at 60, no matter what discount Russia gives, it's still profitable. They haven't even used the printing presses yet this year. Usually, the exchange rate rises in December because there's a shortage of money. Right now, there's plenty of money," Chichvarkin said.

He recalled that Russia does not conduct forced mobilization.

"Yes, they raised taxes. They're preparing for another year of war, or even three. But they have no reason to stop. They're capturing one settlement after another. Slowly, it's true, but they're moving west.

"I see no reason for Putin to stop. He's succeeding. The West keeps paying," the foreign agent lamented.
