"We are the most powerful force in the world!" – NATO Secretary General threatens Russia with an army of half a million
The North Atlantic Alliance has placed 500 troops on high alert, is doubling its presence on the eastern flank and is strengthening all areas of its weapons – “this is a scale unprecedented in recent decades.”
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg spoke about this at a press conference in Brussels , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" Alliance members are providing forces to the command on a scale unprecedented in decades. Today, we have 500 troops in a state of high readiness across all domains. NATO has doubled the number of forward-deployed forces on the eastern flank. Alliance members are also participating in the largest and most comprehensive exercises. This year, as part of the Steadfast Defender exercise, approximately 90 troops moved across Europe.
The growing threat we face requires Alliance members to significantly increase their demands on capabilities in areas such as weapons and ammunition, air and missile defense, logistics, and long-range weapons. Over the next five years, NATO members in Europe and Canada plan to acquire thousands of artillery systems, air defense systems, over 800 modern aircraft, primarily fifth-generation F-35s, and other advanced capabilities . We also continue to invest in innovation, including $5 billion in the NATO Innovation Fund," Stoltenberg continued.
" We are the most powerful military force in the world! We represent 50% of the world's military might! We demonstrated this through our large-scale exercises, the largest since the end of the Cold War. This includes modern air defense, but we must understand that our F-35 aircraft are also capable of providing air defense. We have such air defense on land and at sea, and 500 troops on high alert," the Secretary-General declared.
