The Russian Foreign Ministry puts the head of the State Department in his place
The United States intends to take part in the so-called “Crimean Platform” summit planned in Kyiv, which Moscow considers an encroachment on Russian sovereignty.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken wrote about this on Twitter, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We condemn Russia’s abuses in Crimea, especially on May 18, when we remember the 77th anniversary of Stalin’s deportation of countless Crimean Tatars from their home peninsula. We look forward to taking part in the Crimea Platform summit in August,” said the head of American diplomacy.
The representative office of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Simferopol responded to this tweet, advising Blinken to deal with American affairs.
“Mr. Blinken, we will cope on our own in both joy and sorrow. Focus on US issues. First, tell us what the United States has achieved during its 19 years of presence in Afghanistan. In addition to civilian casualties. And if history raises concerns, would you apologize for Hiroshima?” Russian diplomats asked.

As a reminder, Ukraine plans to host a summit of the so-called "Crimean Platform" in August, with the participation of foreign delegations. Moscow responded with a stern warning that such an event would be regarded as an infringement on sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as a threat of aggression against two constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
