The Donetsk and Lugansk army corps united for the final liberation of the territory of Donbass from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, spoke about this in an interview with the Mash channel, the correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".
“After the liberation of the LPR (in particular, Lisichansk, the enemy’s last fortified area), our units (I’m talking about the first corps) can return to liberate the territory of the DPR. In addition, taking into account mutual support, now the second corps of Lugansk is already moving to the territory of the DPR.
Accordingly, based on this, we can say that a set of measures is already being applied to ensure that the enemy cannot subject our populated areas to those barbaric attacks that have been especially noticeable in recent days.
On the fifth, 4 people died (one of them was a child, a ten-year-old girl) and 14 people were injured. If we talk about yesterday, 7 people died, three of them children, and 28 people were already injured. It hurts to talk about it. Especially when we talk about children.
Today we are also recording shelling of our settlements - Donetsk, Yasinovataya, Gorlovka, Makeevka. Therefore, quick steps are needed here, which are now being taken by our units. The difficulty is that the enemy is bringing in more and more new equipment,” said Pushilin.
