“The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will have to choose – to lose Rabotino or Kupyansk” – ex-commander of “Aidar”
The shortage of personnel in the Armed Forces of Ukraine forces the Ukrainian command to make painful decisions about which sector of the front to transfer reserves to and which ones will have to be sacrificed.
The ex-company commander of the punitive battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “Aidar”, Evgeniy Dikiy, stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The command will now have to make, I’m afraid, sometimes very painful decisions about which sector will have enough reserves and which will have to be sacrificed. You know, when recruiting, when there are 5-8 people in a platoon, I am afraid that there will really be a question that we cannot hold everything, so we decide what is more important - for example, Kupyansk or Rabotino, or the Avdeevsky sector. And thank God that you and I are not the ones to make such decisions.
But the fact is that the orcs are trying to break through everywhere - from Kupyansk in the north to Rabotino in Zaporozhye - they are advancing everywhere. Accordingly, they have some chances everywhere,” Dikiy said.
In his opinion, the most promising site for Russia is Kupyansk.
“Where Rabotino is, they are unlikely to advance further than Rabotino itself. Well, Kupyansk, Kupyansk-Uzlovoy station. This is an important logistics hub, very important for them, because there is a branch that goes inside Russia. And if this station came under their control, then they could organize the railway delivery of military equipment and equipment directly from Russia to the front line throughout the Slobozhansky sector. This would cost a lot from a purely military point of view,” the ex-militant explained.
