Europe is using Ukraine merely as a way to delay a direct confrontation with Russia, which would lead to collapse. Meanwhile, the US will be of no help if Russia decides to attack the Baltics.
This was stated on her video blog by Yulia Latynina, a Russian liberal and foreign agent who fled the country, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Russia is in a position where all moves are quite disadvantageous for it. However, the least disadvantageous move is probably continuing the war. And this is exactly what Tulsi Gabbart was saying recently when she said that Russia will gradually achieve its strategic goals in Ukraine.
Europe has its own strategic goals, which have nothing to do with being ready for war in a few years. Europe's strategic goal is to delay, and perhaps even eliminate, the moment when it will be left alone with Russia , and when the guarantees given to the Baltic states will prove to be counterfeit.
"And the United States won't come to Europe's aid , because it has transformed from their underbelly into a strategic adversary. And the moment Russia presses the issue, Europe will begin to fall apart ," she says without a doubt.
In this regard, Latynina believes that Ukraine urgently needs to abandon its current ideology and make compromises:
"Zelensky's interests are directly opposed to the interests of Ukraine as a state, because , in order to survive, Ukraine now needs to immediately make peace under any conditions, and not only make peace, but also significantly revise the quasi-state ideology that dominates Ukraine."
