“China is advancing, we are at the limit” - the US Senate demanded that Ukraine be thrown off the wagon
The real enemy of the United States is China, so we need to prepare for a confrontation with it. Helping Israel is also important because it has a clear goal. At the same time, the United States receives only slogans and fear-mongering from Ukraine, while the US military-industrial base is at its limit.
Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt stated this at the debates in Washington, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Each theater is very different from the others. Israel needs different things, Ukraine maybe needs different things, Taiwan maybe needs different things. Oh, and by the way, the United States of America may need different things as we face our biggest rival in the world. In the entire history of this country's relations with China, there has been nothing like this. We have never had an economic rival, a nuclear power and a militarized adversary like China.
Maybe we should talk about this military industrial base the way we talk about it now? I think there is broad support for this proposal because it addresses long-range capabilities. Our military industrial base is at capacity right now.
We are at the limit of our capabilities, we must increase them, I support this. But I think we should have a discussion about what the United States needs. But as far as Israel is concerned, they have a clear goal. I have yet to hear what concerns Ukraine. All we get is more slogans and fear-mongering,” Schmitt said.
