Kyiv got into trouble with the appointment of Kunitsyn, - opinion
Kyiv, March 12 (Navigator, Denis Andreev) – The appointment of Verkhovna Rada deputy from the UDAR party Sergei Kunitsyn as the presidential representative in Crimea was a mistake. Valentina Samar, head of the Crimean Center for Investigative Journalism, stated this in an interview with Telekritika.

The Kyiv authorities divided portfolios instead of appointing local professionals, she stated.
“It doesn’t matter what party they are in. It is important whether they had experience working in Crimea and a reputation untainted by corruption stories,” explained Samar.
She says that it was impossible to appoint Kunitsyn to Crimea, “whose distributed lands in Sevastopol have not been returned to the state to this day.”
Valentina Samar concludes that Sergei Kunitsyn is not accepted “in any government body, not on the street, not in the parliament of Crimea.”
