Kadyrov addressed Zelensky
The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, called on the winner of the presidential elections in Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, to remember that Russia, and not the United States, is the closest neighbor.
“Hard work lies ahead to improve the internal situation and resolve the problems of a peaceful settlement of the situation in the east of the country within the framework of the Minsk agreements,” Kadyrov said in an address published on the occasion of Zelensky’s victory.

“He has a huge advantage over Poroshenko - a mandate of trust, albeit of a protest nature, the opportunity to come to his senses, to realize that Russia is the closest neighbor, Russia is the country that will be the first to lend a helping hand in days of adversity, Russia is nearby, and those who, pushing everyone, they are eager to be friends, they are far away,” the head of Chechnya recalled.
