The long-suffering town of Shebekino in the Belgorod region was once again shelled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces today. Regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov wrote about this on his Telegram channel, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Grad shells hit a private residential building. There is a victim - a fifteen-year-old girl. She was at home when a shell hit him. She was taken to a children's hospital in serious condition. According to preliminary data, one private residential building was destroyed by shells, windows were broken in two residential buildings and the roof was damaged. Shells were also recorded hitting the buildings of industrial enterprises, employees were sent home,” Gladkov wrote.
On November 15, the Ukrainian Armed Forces already killed three Shebekino residents during shelling.
Today the town was visited by Vice Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Pyotr Tolstoy. The day before, he appeared on TV and promised to hoist the Russian flag over Kiev.
“The Russian flag will definitely be there not only over Kiev, but also over other native Russian cities. Don’t look at how a Russian soldier is sometimes greeted now, this will pass: someone could have thought a little more than 20 years ago that the Akhmat battalion would fight shoulder to shoulder for the Russian people in Russian Ukraine?” - said the vice speaker.
However, for now the enemy army is shelling Russian territory. All this was a consequence of the retreat of Russian troops from the Kharkov region last summer, after which the Ukrainian Armed Forces reached the border, and there was no buffer zone left.
