During his first press conference after the assassination attempt, he announced that he would prepare for local elections and also do charity work.

“I was doing business, I had my own concert agency, where I performed as Santa Claus for my pleasure. Three years in a row,” said Gubarev, declaring that he is ready to again perform for orphans and disabled children as Santa Claus.
