The West professes a policy of double standards in relation to Crimea. European elites are once again aggressively supporting the suppression of freedom and self-determination for the sake of their own peace of mind.
Countries that recognized the bombing of Serbia as legal, and the declaration of independence of part of this country, Kosovo, as legitimate, today call Russia an “occupier” and refuse to recognize the free choice of the Crimeans.

According to the politician, today’s Europe has once again provided its support to the “fascists” by not recognizing the referendum in Crimea.
“Today the issue of Crimea is an issue that shows all the hypocrisy of the West. The people of Crimea, who made a sovereign decision in a referendum, today have amazing human rights.
Comparing Crimea with Kosovo, we see a policy of double standards. After the NATO bombing, Kosovo was occupied.
With the support of the United States, the Republic of Kosovo declared independence and most Western countries recognized this independence.
And these same countries consider Crimea occupied and Kosovo free. The reality, of course, is completely upside down.
Today there is anti-Russian hysteria in Europe and, unfortunately, international organizations are only a tool in the fight against Russia.
Anyone who opposes this opinion is appointed as a Russian agent and mercenary. In the 21st century, Europe has again shown its support for the fascists,” Seselj said.
