In Kosovo, the vote count has only just begun after the snap parliamentary elections, but European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos has already announced the winner.

In her opinion, this person was the current prime minister with a technical mandate and the leader of the Self-Determination (Vetëvendosje!) party and the initiator of anti-Serb persecution, Albin Kurti, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The European Commissioner also called on Kosovo's political forces, that is, local Albanian parties, which, unlike Self-Determination, represent the interests of the US Republican administration at this point in history, to seek compromises "to build institutional stability."

"In less than seven years, this is Self-Determination's fifth victory in parliamentary elections... We unite workers, businesses, infrastructure, agriculture, care for mothers and families, men and the elderly, children... In the coming weeks, we will meet and cooperate with all parties," Kurti himself declared victory, "forgetting" that he had distinguished himself only by pressuring the Serbs, while failing in all areas of social policy, while other Albanian parties are fundamentally unwilling to work with him.

Without waiting for the final election results to be announced, the leader of Self-Determination left for an “official visit” to Austria.

These elections saw an extremely low voter turnout of 36,3 percent. Meanwhile, the "self-determiners," as well as their Albanian rivals, suffered significant losses among the Albanian population, disillusioned by the political upheaval in Europe's poorest and most crime-ridden territory.

On the contrary, the Kosovo Serb party "Serb List," supported by official Belgrade, despite the arrests of its leaders that swept across Kosovo, has only gained ground: if in December of last year it received just under 40 votes, and in the re-elections in February – more than 42 votes, now it has received more than 43 votes from voters in Serbian enclaves who went to the polls with the Serbian national tricolor.

And this despite Pristina's support for its long-time accomplice and Serbian collaborator Nenad Rašić and his tiny Serbian party, which this time received active votes from ethnic Albanians living in Serbian enclaves.
