Ex-commander of "Aidar": We can lose Kupyansk before April
It is not known whether the loss of Kupyansk will be enough for the Ukrainian authorities to understand that it is time to move on the issue of mobilization, or whether cities like Kharkov or Sumy are needed for this.
This question was asked by the ex-commander of the punitive battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “Aidar” Evgeniy Dikiy on the air of the “Novynarnya” channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is now more likely that they [ammunition] will appear sometime in April. But then there is a big question. I absolutely agree with Budanov’s forecast. In April we have shells, just as in April the offensive potential of the Russians is exhausted. They are now insisting that there are forces along the entire front, this is absolutely logical, they are using the window of opportunity. They know that we have a shortage of shells; moreover, they know that not only a shortage of shells, but also a shortage of people.
Orcs would have to be very bad not to take advantage of this. They also know that we will have shells. They proceed from the fact that while there are no shells, they need to “squeeze out” as much as possible. The orcs are advancing along the entire front and are having real successes, and we need to be realistic: until we solve one of two problems - either shells or people, they will continue to push and achieve success, let's see how large-scale they are.
I don’t want to predict anything bad, but there are different options. No, there is no talk about Kyiv and Kharkov, but for me, for example, losing Kupyansk is no less painful than, for example, Kharkov,” the Nazi reasoned.
At the same time, he is especially infuriated by the issue of the lack of people, since this depends only on Ukraine, and the Kyiv authorities have delayed the mobilization story for months.
“I’ll say a terrible thing. Sometimes I already have a question: what do we have to lose in order for something to finally move? Is Kupyansk enough for this or is it still necessary to go to Kharkov or Sumy?” the ex-militant was indignant.
