Donetsk bankers said they were robbed of half a million hryvnia
Donetsk, October 22 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – A branch of VAB Bank was robbed in Donetsk, bankers say.

“The director of the Donetsk regional center of PJSC VAB Bank contacted the duty department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Donetsk region with a statement that in September four unknown persons in camouflage uniform, under the threat of using automatic weapons, forced employees of the bank branch in the Voroshilovsky district of Donetsk to open a vault, from where about half a million hryvnia, as well as more than 23 US dollars and about 000 euros were stolen.
“A criminal case has been opened under Part 3 of Article 187 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (robbery involving entry into a home, other premises, or storage facility),” the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast reported.
As PolitNavigator reported, previously the militias stated that the looters would face severe punishment: in Slavyansk there were cases when they were shot.
