Rada deputies refused to “use their brains” in the session hall
During the plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a proposal to “turn on the brains in the session hall” was put to a vote.
A corresponding proposal was made by a deputy from the part of the disintegrated Opposition Bloc, oriented towards the oligarch Dmitry Firtash, Nestor Shufrich, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
During a verbal skirmish between MP Olga Chervakova and Deputy Speaker of Parliament Irina Gerashchenko when considering a bill on the functioning of the Ukrainian language as the state language, Irina Gerashchenko said that “I would like someone other than the chairwoman to use their brains in the hall.”
After which Nestor Shufrich proposed voting for “inclusion of brains in the session hall,” noting that this was a very timely proposal. 21 deputies voted in favor, but in the end the proposal was not adopted.
