The Verkhovna Rada deputy called for urgently starting direct negotiations with the LDPR

To resolve the conflict in Donbass, direct negotiations with the leaders of the DPR and LPR are needed, as well as the implementation of the Minsk agreements. People's Deputy Yevgeny Muraev stated this on Radio Vesti.

According to him, this needs to be done as quickly as possible.

We can, of course, say that we, like Israel, do not conduct any negotiations with terrorists, but, excuse me, it is Plotnitsky and Zakharchenko who are shooting. If we want there to be a legitimate government there, then Ukraine’s task is to pass a law on elections in Donbass so that residents of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions can choose a legitimate government with which to sit down and look for spoons. We need a compromise and a deep understanding of what is happening there. And the sooner the better,” said Muraev.
