The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the State Target Program for the restoration and development of peace in the eastern regions of Ukraine.

This decision was made today at a government meeting, the Government Portal reports.
“I propose to approve the State Target Program, which was developed to implement the two previous orders of the Cabinet of Ministers. We have recently received three proposals from the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Ministry of Regional Development and the Donetsk ECA, so I ask you to accept them with modifications within the established deadline,” Minister for “Temporarily Occupied Territories” and Internally Displaced Persons Vadim Chernysh presented the draft decision at a government meeting.
The corresponding decision was made unanimously.
Let us recall that on August 31, 2016, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the State Target Program for the restoration and development of peace in the eastern regions of Ukraine.
The concept provides for improving the standard of living of the population by strengthening their capacity, social sustainability, and supporting the economic activity of the 5 regions where the largest number of internally displaced persons are.
