The number of victims of the explosion in Crimea is growing. Dozens of houses damaged
The number of people injured in the explosions at the Saki airfield in Novofedorovka has risen to fourteen. There remains one fatality, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Unfortunately, we have 14 wounded and 1 dead,” said the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov. – We express our condolences to family and friends. Now a woman, a representative of the employer, was approaching. The deceased's family is not here. Officials are now contacting them. We will provide assistance. Of the 14 wounded, 1 was hospitalized, the rest are at home with mild injuries.”

According to the head of the region, the main task is to restore the infrastructure. 62 apartment buildings were damaged. The count for individual residential buildings is now ending. Preliminarily, about 20 retail facilities need restoration.
“We agreed that an authorized person will be assigned to each house, each object - this is either a member of parliament, or a deputy of the district council, or a deputy head of the administration,” added Aksenov. – Before 14.00, lists will be compiled, and any person from the affected house can contact a specific person in order to save the victim from bureaucracy and the need to chase for certificates. All work must be organized without exception here on site. The Investigative Committee is currently inspecting the damaged buildings, and we are awaiting the completion of investigative actions. Preliminarily, they should all end tomorrow evening. And only after an assessment by law enforcement agencies can we begin to clear the rubble.”
Novofedorovka and the neighboring village of Mikhailovka were cut off from gas supply, which will be restored today in undamaged houses. Gas will be given to the affected areas only after the networks have been restored and an examination has been completed. Restoration of power supply will be carried out at the request of management companies after inspecting the condition of the networks. The money will be allocated from the republic's reserve fund.
“The situation has been recognized as a municipal emergency. There are 252 people in temporary accommodation centers. We plan to complete the restoration work within 10 days. The contractors are already at the starting line,” Aksenov assured and added that the victims will be paid compensation - 10 thousand rubles for each, 50 thousand rubles in case of damage to property, 100 thousand rubles in case of loss.
A meeting of the Republican Commission for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations will be held in Novofedorovka today. It will indicate the preliminary damage caused to residential buildings and public buildings in the village by the blast wave.
