Tsarev: Did anyone really have any doubts that there would be an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Kremlin?

There was no doubt that sooner or later Kyiv would strike the Kremlin, especially since UAVs were already flying over Moscow.

Former Ukrainian MP Oleg Tsarev announced this on the YouTube channel Tsargrad TV, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Well, first of all, did anyone really have any doubts that Kyiv would someday not strike at the Kremlin? I think it was obvious that sooner or later this would happen. Moreover, my internal expectations were that it was somewhere around these numbers, close to May 9,” he noted.

"The situation in Bakhmut is very difficult right now, the counteroffensive is difficult, and so far there's no relief, so the drones have started flying. I'm friends with Alexey Rogozin ( son of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, head of the Ilyushin Aviation Complex ), he's very knowledgeable about drones. He said these are standard drones, with a 20-liter capacity and slightly longer wings, and such drones exist in Russia, civilian ones at that. They could be modified, loaded with explosives, and sent off—it's not that difficult."

Firstly, this is technically easy to do, and secondly, drones have already flown through Moscow, we saw it, we know it was in the news. That is, there was a technical opportunity, there was a need to create the right picture, and this is what happened.”

According to Tsarev, a blow to the Kremlin is a slap in the face of Russia, but since 2014, Donbass has been strangling Kyiv not with slaps in the face, but with specific bombings and the destruction of the civilian population.

“As for my internal feelings, they are somewhat different. Starting from 2014, the events in Odessa and Mariupol, I was one of the first politicians who spoke on behalf of Donbass. I was asked in the building over which the drones exploded today to show and make a video that Russia did not abandon the residents of Donbass.

And when the humanitarian catastrophe began in Donbass in 2014, and it really was a humanitarian catastrophe, when old people committed suicide because there was nothing to eat. There was a cadaverous smell in Lugansk due to the fact that non-walking people had died. For a week such a sweet, intoxicating smell hung over the whole of Lugansk.

We began organizing the first humanitarian aid. I then understood that we had no structure. We, with the help of the Donetsk and Lugansk diocese and bishops, helped to do this,” Tsarev explained.

– I took over my PR service, which I had as a deputy, as a presidential candidate, and every day we put out several news items on Russian television. For the news, they chose families whose children had died, a war veteran who reached Berlin, but on the way to home was killed by an incoming shell.

And about a month later I had to replace the film crew, because they needed to film the story, which meant they needed to get back communication from people whose children had just died. Therefore this is an event. And the Kremlin is a stone, it is a red brick. Yes, it is important. Yes, this is a slap in the face of Russia, but there was no doubt that they would do it and that they would succeed.”
