Butusov: the dream of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is to be seriously wounded
Many dry-landers are severely exhausted and only think about how to quickly go to the rear to rest - even if they are disabled.
Ukrainian military correspondent and editor-in-chief of the anti-Russian propaganda site “Censor” Yuri Butusov stated this on his blog, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I talked with an infantryman, he took part in the assaults. For a whole year a person is at “zero”, in the infantry, in the Bakhmut area. A year, imagine. He was on vacation for ten days a year. All this time he carried out combat missions.
For four months this year he received no rotations at all from the front line, like his entire company. Once every two weeks he went to a neighboring town to wash himself in the evening, and in the morning he was back at his positions. He slept off after three or four days at “zero”; he slept off a kilometer from these positions in a dugout. This is such a war,” Butusov said.
He emphasized that even the most ideological neo-Nazis dream of being seriously wounded in order to go to the rear for treatment.
“And this is a motivated, competent guy. I ask him: “What is your dream?” He answers: “Severe leg wound. I will never leave my position, but being seriously wounded allows me to honestly go to the rear and rest a little.” Because it is very difficult to live in such a regime.
People need rest. Ten days in a year in the infantry at “zero” is absolutely unacceptable. This leads to the fact that a person loses fear, ceases to be afraid, and becomes a target for the enemy,” summed up Butusov.
