Battle near Lugansk: militias attacked by a tank column

Lugansk, June 12 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In the Lugansk region, a fierce battle is taking place between the militia and the Ukrainian army.

“North of Stanitsa Luganskaya, in front of the village of Makarovo, a column of about 40 tanks was stopped,” the militia headquarters reported.
Currently, the battle continues near Makarovo. No losses have been reported yet.
“I called Olkhovaya, there is a heavy cannonade going on. Lugansk, there is a battle going on at Stanitsa, the Nazis have been stopped, it seems like they are holding 40 tanks,” write social media users.
“Luhansk residents are successfully resisting the attacks of the invaders in the area of the village. Nizhnyaya Olkhovaya. The entrances to the settlement are completely controlled by the defense forces of the Lugansk People’s Republic,” the Ostrov publication quotes a representative of the LPR Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As Navigator reported, earlier the leader of the “Luhansk People’s Republic” Valery Bolotov said that a ring of security forces was tightening around Lugansk, who were trying to cut off the militias from the border.
