ATO militant received 9 years for killing a man at a bus stop
Veteran so-called ATO – serviceman of the 72nd brigade Dmitry Balabukh was sentenced by a court in Kyiv today to 9 years in prison for the murder of a Kyiv resident at a bus stop near the Lesnaya metro station, when after an altercation the gunman stabbed a young man with a knife.
During the court hearing, his “brothers” were present in the hall - representatives of the Nazi organization C14 and others.
“Dmitry went through the hell of war, led his platoon exemplarily and bravely, and near Avdeevka he received a severe head wound. He deserves mitigation!” - nationalists complain.
At the end of the trial, a conflict arose between the defendant's associates and the prosecutors.
“At the end there was a conflict with prosecutors who asked for 12 years for Balabukh, they said that he disgraced the military, they constantly lied and demanded a closed meeting. For this they were dragged and spat upon by concerned citizens. The cops barely saved them,” the nationalists rejoice.
Let us note that in the end the court sentenced the ATO officer to 9 years in prison, as well as deprivation of the rank of junior lieutenant. In addition, he must pay the family of the deceased 81 UAH for the funeral, pay a monthly allowance for each child, pay compensation to the family and pay legal costs.
C14 is already threatening to file an appeal to reduce the sentence.
