Without American money and organization, European countries will not be able to create an effective anti-Russian coalition.
This was stated on air by retired colonel of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Defense Vladimir Trukhan on the air of Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The fact that Estonia and Lithuania are putting together some kind of coalition - well, let them drink vodka together. It's of little use. Now there's talk again about a "coalition of the willing" - professional military men are watching how such a coalition was put together for "Desert Storm", "Afghanistan", "Freedom for Iraq" - and they're giggling.
"Because it's impossible to assemble a coalition without the US army. Even the Poles refuse to send troops. All the Poles who wanted to fight are already buried. Even their corpses don't reach their homeland," Trukhan said.
"We'll see what they can do. They want to, but they can't. Because now the Netherlands says they'll give 300 military men. And I remember how the Germans and the Netherlands decided to create a tank battalion. The Germans would give tanks, the Netherlands would give people. A couple of years later they announced that nothing had worked out.
