The General Staff of the Navy reported this to Interfax on Monday.

“On Sunday, the BDK “Alexander Otrakovsky” of the Northern Fleet and the BDK “Novocherkassk” of the Black Sea Fleet passed the zone of the Black Sea straits and entered the Mediterranean Sea,” the source said.

According to him, a day earlier the tugboat MB-31 of the Black Sea Fleet followed the same course.

BDKs from the permanent operational formation of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean Sea regularly call at the Black Sea ports of Russia, and in particular, at Novorossiysk, to replenish supplies.
