This was stated on the sidelines of the Rada by MP Sergei Melnychuk , former commander of the Aidar battalion.

“They said that Aidar is a criminal group. What I saw is that 400 people, at least 400 people are now wanted - these are fighters of the Aidar battalion,” Melnichuk said.

Let us remind you that yesterday, May 12, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin confirmed that he had submitted a motion to prosecute Sergei Melnichuk. The Prosecutor General's Office suspects him of creating a criminal group. In addition, it is reported that many different criminal cases have been opened against him, which could result in life imprisonment for the people’s deputy.
