"This is really dangerous!" - Ukrainian Armed Forces officer on Zelensky's meeting with Putin
A possible meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky is extremely dangerous in its consequences for Zelensky and Ukraine.
Igor Lapin, a former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, a major in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and a former participant in the punitive operation against the LPR and DPR, stated this on the air of the Pryamyi TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Zelensky said he was ready to meet with Putin. I'm scared here. I'm really scared here. Why? I think Putin, in the best KGB style, could grab Zelensky again by the Faberge and threaten to kill his family. Do you think there's a safe place somewhere on planet Earth?" Lapin said.
He believes that the meeting between Zelensky and Putin “should be in the presence of nannies.”
According to him, it was the presence of EU leaders during Zelensky’s last visit to Washington that helped avoid negative scenarios.
“You understand, a lot of politicians took that kid to cover his ass from Trump,” Lapin said.
